I grew up around interior design.  Our family has owned and operated a custom drapery and upholstery business that my mother, an incredibly talented and creative woman, started when I was a child.  I remember designers and architects would bring their drawings into the shop, and it was here that their designs became a reality.  Some of my fondest memories are from all those years when I spent long hours in our shop, helping create beautiful, colorful interiors, living and breathing the world of design.  I witnessed hundreds of rooms transformed into beautiful spaces and hundreds of houses turned into homes, but most importantly, I experienced the joy of seeing people’s lives touched in such a personal way by these colorful transformations!

But we’re not just making homes and businesses beautiful — We’re changing lives through our colorful designs, connecting people intimately with  their spaces.  We LOVE people, and we LOVE color, but we especially LOVE to make people happy through the power of color!

My name is Edith Barrera González.  With decades of  hands-on experience in interior design and creating colorful home decor furnishings, a Bachelor’s and a degree in Interior Design, I have worked shoulder to shoulder with our family team of Creatives since 1979 and as our team’s Interior Designer and Principal at Edith Barrera Interiors, LLC since 1999.
