Although we walked into this space and saw absolutely no color, we had a vision to give it some warmth and energy. The owners love modern and contemporary interiors and rich, bold colors. Yay! (I LOVE people who aren’t afraid of color) The inspiration for this design was to create the PERFECT fusion of modern and contemporary! The modern wood elements in the space infuse such beauty and warmth, while the metal elements, chrome and gold, give it a nice contrast. The wall colors, faux finishes, GORGEOUS draperies and beautiful artwork have infused the space with the amazing power of color. Look at the AFTER pics
I am the Principal, Interior Designer at Edith Barrera Interiors, and I've lived and breathed the world of interior design since I was a child. My family owned and operated a drapery, bedding and upholstery business that my dear, talented mother opened in 1979. With a Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts and a degree in Interior Design, I am the founder of Edith Barrera Interiors, LLC. With the spirited collaboration of my fabulous team, I've been creating colorful and personalized interiors since 1999. I love all things related to color and interior design, renovating and remodeling, and I enjoy talking to others about the power of color in enriching the quality of life. When I'm not designing, I love spending time with my wonderful husband and my two beautiful children, who are the light of my life. I have an intense passion for life!! I love people, reading, learning, teaching, traveling, vegetarian food, fine wine and spending time with great friends. I'm so glad you're here today, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to share my colorful world with you!
